This is Prashant Kumar, signing in from Bengaluru, India.
I’m publishing this personal journal entry as my first article because it’s close to my heart. Over time, as this site grows, this post will move to the older pages—ensuring the website never feels like just another "ordinary business."
I have always believed that companies with the best ethics are those truly dear to their founders. Many founders tell stories about how special their brands are, but often, it’s just cheap PR.
When I decided to enter the open market, it wasn't easy. As a marketer, I knew the demands: the photoshoots, the content, the tools, and the constant management. How could I manage all this with an already busy schedule? There was only one solution—this brand had to be a part of me. It had to be my own name.
As I move into this next stage, I want to glance back at the past.
There were days when I was happy simply with job success and project completions. Then came the pandemic. As the world’s heartbeat slowed, so did the economy. I knew then that the harshest consequences would fall on the middle class. Month by month, the "we are family" facade of many companies began to burst.
In July 2021, I decided I wanted to build an organization where people are treated like people—not just a cost-cutting variable or a resource to exploit. Today, most people aren't looking for "work-life balance"; they are looking for survival and the security to pay their bills.
This isn't just a personal branding website. My ambition is to scale these operations to provide talented people with the work, life, and pay they deserve. Anyone who joins "Prashant Kumar" should never have to fear for their job or feel exploited.
It is a long journey ahead, but my aspirations are high.
Before the work begins: Hello World.
